Bavarian beer, brass bands, and sing-alongs are set to take over Saddleworth once again with Oktoberfest.
Uppermill’s third annual Oktoberfest returns on Saturday, October 3, promising an afternoon of 'Oktoberfest chaos' at Uppermill Civic Hall from 12pm to 4pm.
A crowd favourite and a regular sell-out, the event recreates the Munich festival with communal beer hall tables, traditional German décor, and an energetic, authentic atmosphere.
The event also sees pubs, bars and sports clubs take part across Saddleworth, with previous events also marketed by the venues.
The event listing said: "A proper Bavarian Oktoberfest experience returns for the third year to Saddleworth this October.
"Expect long beer hall tables, huge sing-alongs, authentic Bavarian music and one brilliant Saturday afternoon atmosphere at Uppermill Civic Hall.
"Live on stage throughout the afternoon are The Jäger Maestros — a real Bavarian-style oompah band bringing the energy, brass and classic Oktoberfest atmosphere that makes these events so memorable.
"Whether you’re coming as a couple, a small group or filling a full table, everyone’s welcome.
"Although October might feel a long way off, around 70 tickets now remain from 280 available, and every Oktoberfest we’ve held over the last three years has sold out by late June.

Food will be served throughout the day, and guests can expect lively crowd sing-alongs and entertainment in true Oktoberfest tradition.
A table of eight costs £204.50, including booking fees, while remaining single tickets are priced at £27 and can be purchased via TicketTailor.
Oktoberfests have become a popular event across the country, with large chains such as Wetherspoons hosting their own versions of the festival.
