M60 road closures set to impact Oldham across the next month

Drivers in Oldham should prepare for significant road closures due to essential works scheduled for May and June.

The M60 will experience a carriageway closure from Junction 20 to Junction 22, starting on May 19 at midnight and lasting until May 20 at 7am.

Restrictions are expected to remain in place during this time for electrical works conducted by National Highways Ltd.

Additionally, the M60 will also see closures from Junction 23 to Junction 21 on June 14 at 11pm, continuing until June 15 at 7am.

This closure is necessary for horticultural activities, including cutting and planting, and the restrictions are set to remain in place throughout the duration of the works.

Furthermore, Sherbourne Road will be closed from May 12 to May 14 to facilitate water works within the carriageway, footway, and verge.

The restrictions are scheduled to remain in place during this period, impacting local traffic.
