A burger from a growing food venue has been hailed a 'thing of beauty'.

Curio, in Royton, first started as a street food vendor running out of a converted horse box trailer in June 2020, as well as serving at pop-ups, festivals and private events.

The venue has since expanded to a permanent home and is one of the most popular restaurants in the area, with a five-star rating on Google Reviews from more than 150 reviewers.

The restaurant offers takeaway and dine-in options and has attracted the attention of a food reviewer for its Coca-Cola burger.

Glowing praise was given by the TikTok food reviewer who visited after recommendations.

The review, posted on the Double Cheese Bees Knees TikTok account, has since gained more than 20,000 views and 410 likes.

In the video, the reviewer said: "Quite a few people told me that this is their favourite burger they've ever had.

"And from looking at it, I can see why.

"So this has American cheese, Coca-Cola barbecue sauce, streaky maple bacon, bourbon caramelised onions, cracked pepper mayo, and bacon butter.

"You know how fancy that sounds?

"It's a thing of beauty."

He also praised Curio's chips, calling them 'proper chips', and encouraged viewers to visit the venue

He said: "Curio in Oldham is definitely a spot.

"I'd recommend anyone to come, what a spot.

"Big ratings for that burger."

One viewer commented on the video, and said: "Best place in all of Manchester for food, try the new guy burger next time.

"Duck loaded fries, cauliflower wings… it all slaps!"

The Cola Burger costs £14 and is served at the Oldham Road venue.

The reviewer, who is known only as Double Cheese Bees Knees, posts food content from around Greater Manchester.

The video showed the burger stacked up with sauce and toppings, and showed bits dripping from it as the reviewer ate it.
