An Oldham bar is getting a fresh look as part of a refurbishment plan aimed at creating a more comfortable experience for customers.
Located on Market Street in Shaw, Dusk and Dawn bar opened in October 2024 and serves artisan cocktails and wood-fired pizza.
The bar is upgrading its seating by replacing barstools and tall benches with standard seating where customers' feet can 'touch the floor'.
The bar said: "Since we opened in October 2024, we have continuously invested to improve the bar for our community and the surrounding areas.
"The latest work includes removing the existing flooring and seating area from the rear part of the bar and replacing it with all-new booth seating and flooring.
"We've worked around the clock to ensure no disruption to our usual opening times, and we invite new and existing customers to come and try out the new seating area for themselves this weekend.
"We've also installed three new 65" TV screens ahead of the World Cup - taking our screen tally to a total of eight screens.
"We run a popular speed quiz every Thursday.
"We are Shaw's only interactive darts venue, and we feature live music every week.
"We also offer bottomless brunch on Saturdays and Sundays and have over 50 five-star reviews on Google."
The bar's refurbishment is expected to be finished by Thursday (May 21)
Only three of the bar’s Google reviews are less than five stars.
One reviewer said: "We popped in last night for the first time, and it was far beyond what we expected.
"The drinks were good.
"You could have eaten dinner off the bathroom floor, absolutely spotless.
"You can tell the owners of this place take pride in what they do.
"It was a pleasure to share your one -year anniversary.
"We will definitely be returning at some point."
The venue is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, open from 4pm to 11pm on Thursdays, 4pm to 2am on Fridays, 2pm to 2am on Saturdays, and 2pm to 11pm on Sundays.
