Popeyes in Elk Mill has applied to Oldham Council for permission to open for 24 hours a day.
If approved, the recently opened chicken shop could continue serving its fried dishes around the clock for seven days a week.
The application was submitted by PLK Chicken UK Limited, which is the official registered company name for Popeyes UK.
It revealed intentions to stay open from midnight to midnight, Monday to Sunday, and for the provision of late-night refreshments both indoors and outdoors, also from Monday to Sunday.
The application is not seeking permission for the premises to serve alcohol.
No conditions have been attached or proposed to the application yet.
The applicant can suggest conditions in line with its operating schedule, which often outline how a premises plans to avoid noise disruption, anti-social behaviour, and protect the public.

The council is also able to impose mandatory conditions after a licensing hearing.
Popeyes opened on Elk Mill Retail Park on February 27 this year, with fans queuing from 2am to win giveaway prizes.
The top prize for the first four customers on foot and in the parking bays was free deluxe chicken sandwiches for a year, while the first 50 got some Popeyes merchandise, and the first 100 got a free deluxe chicken sandwich.
Gym manager Ross Gallagher, from Shaw, was the first in the parking bays at 2am.
Speaking to The Oldham Times after he won his prize on the day, Mr Gallagher said: "Everyone was telling me I'm nuts for doing it. They said: ‘I bet you don't do it’. So far, I've proven them wrong.
"It’s all good fun.”
When asked why he decided to try for the prize, he simply said: “I like chicken.”
He added: “I’ll take every single opportunity to get it.
"I love it.
"You get three a week, and they’re worth around a fiver [£6.99], so about £15 a week – it would be great to save a few quid.”
People can share their thoughts on the application through the council's licensing website until June 15.
