An Oldham man has been handed a lengthy jail sentence for engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour towards his partner.
Joseph Tindall appeared at Minshull Street Crown Court on Monday, May 18, after previously pleading guilty to engage in controlling/coercive behaviour in an intimate/family relationship.
The 36-year-old was also sentenced for intimidating a witness, which he also pleaded guilty to.

Tindall, of Furness Avenue, Alt, carried out his controlling and coercive behaviour on his partner over a sustained period of times.
He was handed a 32-month prison sentence for the controlling and coercive behaviour along with an additional 12 months for intimidating a witness.
In total, Tindall was sentenced to 44 months, or three years and eight months, in prison.
