A family bakery brand has reopened after more than a year with a new look, following a refurbishment that saw the store closed for an extended period.
Martins Craft Bakery, in Butler Green, closed its doors in April 2025 and moved into a smaller, temporary store nearby.

The store has now reopened and is already receiving positive feedback from customers.
In a post on Facebook, a local wellness content creator shared their thoughts.
Under the username The Reflektive Skroll, the creator said: "Martins Craft Bakery has unveiled a brand-new store in Chadderton this month, and it’s like their dough has finally risen to its full potential!

"The place is bigger, shinier, and stocked with more treats than ever before—basically a carb lover’s paradise.
"Fun twist: this location is actually where Martins first set up shop over six years ago, before moving into a temporary spot nearby that was so cramped the pastries practically had to queue for space.
"Now, they’re back in their original home, roomier than ever.
"And if you’re around the Butler Green area, swing by and say hello—it’s the same friendly crew, just with way more elbow room (and probably fewer bread roll pile-ups)."

The post included images of the baked goods and treats on offer at the store.
Speaking to The Oldham Times, Toby Graemer, director of Martins Craft Bakery, said: "We are thrilled to reopen our original Butler Green shop after a full refit.
"The renovation has allowed us to create a brighter, more inviting environment for our loyal customers.

"With more physical space, we are able to offer an extended product range and serve locally roasted coffee.
