Oldham businesses are being offered one-to-one guidance with market entry experts.
The new scheme, called Meet the Market Expert, aims to unlock export opportunities as part of a wider effort to help Greater Manchester firms grow internationally.
It is delivered by the GM Business Growth Hub in partnership with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC).
Susana Cordoba, head of international trade service at GM Business Growth Hub, said: "For many businesses, the challenge isn’t ambition, it’s knowing how to take the first step into a new market with confidence.
"Through Meet the Market Expert, we are giving Oldham businesses direct access to market entry experts who understand the realities of operating in these markets."
She said the sessions are practical and tailored.
Ms Cordoba said: "These are not generic sessions, they are focused, practical conversations designed to help businesses identify real opportunities and take informed steps towards international growth."
The programme offers 25-minute sessions with experts who specialise in specific global regions, including Europe, Oceania, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East.
Each meeting is designed to give practical advice on entry strategies, regulations, and commercial opportunities.
The sessions will run throughout July, with each one focusing on a different region.
Businesses can review the list of experts in advance and express interest in being matched with the most relevant specialist for their growth plans.
The initiative comes amid growing challenges in global trade, despite significant untapped potential.
The European market alone represents an estimated $101 billion in unrealised export opportunities for UK businesses.
The United States, China, and India are also identified as key growth markets with substantial opportunities.
