Grants of up to £20,000 are now available to help businesses improve their shop fronts.
Oldham Council has launched shop front improvement grants, offering funding to businesses in Oldham town centre to enhance the appearance of their premises.
Funding can be used for improvements such as new signage, painting, lighting, repairs to doors and windows, or restoring original features.
The scheme aims to boost the overall look of the town centre and attract more visitors.
James Kington, director of growth for Oldham Council, said: "Our local businesses are a huge part of what makes Oldham special, and these grants can make a real difference.
"We're already seeing major investment across Oldham town centre, and it's important that local businesses can be part of that journey too.
"By helping businesses improve their premises, we're creating a more attractive town centre, bringing in more visitors and supporting our local economy.
"I'd encourage any eligible business to take a look at the funding and apply."
The grants cover up to 75 per cent of eligible costs, with up to £10,000 available for single-fronted premises and £20,000 for double-fronted units.
Businesses must contribute at least 25 per cent of the total costs.
Priority will be given to businesses on Yorkshire Street, Union Street, Henshaw Street, and George Street, as well as those near key regeneration projects such as the new outdoor market and Coliseum Theatre.
Tymbuku Health and Beauty on Yorkshire Street improved its shop front through a previous round of funding last year.
The current application window opened on Wednesday, July 1, and will close on Wednesday, August 12.
All works must be completed by Sunday, February 28, 2027.
The scheme supports external improvements only and can also cover professional fees such as planning or building regulation costs.

Businesses are also encouraged to collaborate on property improvements.
