All located in Oldham, the vacant venues are the Park Inn in Shaw, the Dutch Birds Inn in Failsworth, the Clarence in Greenfield, the Peels Arms in Springhead, and the Windmill on Lord Lane in Failsworth.
They offer a mix of community locals, village pubs, and a “destination” venue, each with their own character and customer base.

The Peels Arms, which underwent a complete refurbishment in November 2024, is now described as “the heart of its community” following a “transformational investment.”
Operators of the pub are encouraged to be experienced and community-focused.
They should offer a classic food menu and recognise the value of hosting entertainment and events.
“The ideal operator will be experienced, community-focused, and confident in delivering both a strong drinks range and a food offer featuring pub classics and light bites.”
A creative approach to marketing and passion for the local community is viewed as essential to building trade and encouraging repeat visits.
