A video has shown the extent of damage around Dovestone after more than a week of fire on the surrounding moorland, and has seen people share memories and 'devastation' at the situation.
The video, captured and posted by Explore With Ant, a north west-based drone videographer and content creator, saw a drone fly above the publicly visible area of the fire damage.
It showed a large expanse of blackened land, with vegetation burnt and smoke still smouldering from sections of the ground.
It showed how the fire had spread from the face of the hills and Ashway Gap to the flatter moorland on top.
The video also included some shots of the ongoing effort to contain and fight the fire by Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.

The fire crews had connected a hose to the reservoir and were spraying the land.
The video received more than 1,000 comments, and many people were expressing their upset and anger at the fire.
Three people have been arrested so far in relation to the fire, a 19-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man, both on suspicion of arson , and 20-year-old Shania Care-Slede, who was charged with aggravated arson and dangerous driving before.
Care-Slede, of Market Street Hyde, appeared in court on Monday, where she was granted bail.
One TikTok user commented under the video and said: "Whenever I visit Ashton I always go to Dovestones to visit my mum’s memorial tree.
"I love it up there.
"This makes me so angry."
The memorial forests have been the topic of worry among those with loved ones remembered there , but the management charity has been updating families throughout the incident.
Another person said: "I moved to Australia last year, but dovestones was my home away from home.
"This place has seen so many different versions of me.
"It’s my sad place, my happy place and everything in between.
"Walked, hiked and ran every square inch of it.
"I was always so grateful to have this beautiful place on my doorstep, and forever think about coming back to it.
"This footage has genuinely broken my heart.
"We’re guests on this amazing planet, and some people just don’t deserve it."
Others pointed out the impact to the wildlife, and said: "So so sad to see this disaster!
"The extent of the damage is staggering, and the wildlife that will have had their habitats destroyed and also ones killed!
"The services that have fought tirelessly, dealing with this.
"Your hard work and dedication have not been forgotten during this crisis and the risks of the job you were dealing with.
"Thank you."
