An investigation has been launched after a car was set on fire in Chadderton in what police believe to be a "targeted" incident.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has said that at around 7.30am on Tuesday, July 28, a man was seen acting "suspiciously" around Agnes Street, Chadderton.
The man then approached a car and setting it alight, causing extensive damage to the vehicle as well as two other cars parked nearby.

Police have confirmed no injuries were reported.
Investigators currently believe the incident was "targeted" and do not believe there is any wider risk to the public.
Officers are treating the incident as arson with intent to endanger life and are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have witnessed anything suspicious, to come forward.

GMP has said it is particularly keen to hear from anyone with CCTV, dashcam, doorbell or mobile phone footage that could assist the investigation.
