A WOMAN has celebrated her 50th birthday with presents, balloons – and a coronavirus vaccination.
Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust's learning disability team in Oldham visited Anita Cahill and her husband to mark her landmark birthday.
The workers delivered gifts, balloons before Anita was given a jab to help protect her against Covid-19.
She told the team that she feels safer now that they have both had vaccinations.
A Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust spokesman added: "Anita said the pandemic restrictions have been tough for both of them and the support from the learning disability team has really helped them understand what’s going on.
"They said they feel safer now they’ve had both jabs.
"We hope you had a fantastic birthday."
