OLDHAM conceded 18 points in the first 10 minutes – and then 'won' the next 70 minutes against Bradford Bulls at Bower Fold 12-8. It ended 26-12 to the Bulls.
"We were the better side for long spells, but that's not worth much when you're on the losing end. It's frustrating, very frustrating," said coach Matt Diskin.
A couple of early handling errors by Oldham after Bulls kicks gave the visitors the field position to score two quick tries and there followed a third in the 10th minute.
After that Roughyeds more than held their own but they had left themselves a mountain to climb.
Danny Bridge scored Oldham's two tries.
