HARRY Kewell's first game as Oldham Athletic manager will be at home to Carlisle United in the Carabao Cup first round.
The draw for the EFL competition kicks off the new season, and although the date of the game has yet to be confirmed it is expected to be played on September 5, ahead of the league campaign starting the following weekend.
The draw took place this morning, with the Latics coming out of the hat ahead of their League Two rivals in the northern section.
The teams have faced each other 84 times in all competitions, with Oldham winning 27 of those meetings to Carlisle's 36.
