OLDHAM striker Danny Rowe has joined Bradford City for an undisclosed fee.
The Latics frontman had entered the final six months of his contract at Boundary Park having arrived from AFC Fylde 12 months ago.
In all, the 30-year-old made 32 appearances for Latics and scored 11 goals, eight of those coming this season.
Boss Harry Kewell said: “We have received an offer for Danny that was too good to turn down for a player who is out of contract in the summer.
"I personally want to wish him the very best in the next phase of his career and thank him for what he has done during my time at the club.”
He has signed an 18-month contract at Valley Parade having scored a stunning FA Cup goal in the meeting between the sides in West Yorkshire at the end of November.
The Bantams said Rowe had “turned down several other offers from across the division” to make the move.
His move represents the first major departure of the January transfer window, boss Harry Kewell having brought in winger Marcel Hilssner on loan from Coventry City.
Kewell has said he wants a handful of signings to top up his squad this month. Whether one of those now includes a striker remains to be seen.
