LATICS’ Davis Keillor-Dunn has been nominated for the League Two Player of the Month award for January.

The midfielder scored three goals in four games for Harry Kewell’s side, including a fine winner in the come-from-behind 2-1 victory against Salford.

Keillor-Dunn has some tough competition in the form of Mansfield striker Jordan Bowery, Cambridge’s veteran playmaker Wes Hoolahan and Port Vale frontman Devante Rodney.

Bowery has scored four goals in as many games including a first career hat-trick against Vale. The former Aston Villa man also added two assists.

Hoolahan, now 38, has provided two goals and two assists to help Cambridge to the top of the table.

Rodney scored four goals last month with plenty of variety in among them – a header against Grimsby, a 25-yarder at Forest Green, then a sumptuous first-time strike and a solo effort in a double against Southend.

The winner will be announced on Friday morning.
