Latics fans have been having their say after Harry Kewell's sudden departure.
We've rounded up some of the reaction on Twitter below...
Not a decision I'm surprised at but the timing is strange.

Despite his tactical flaws, I believe there would have been no concern re relegation with Kewell and the more logical approach would be to evaluate his position in the summer.
Then again, this is Oldham Athletic #oafc
Stop buying season tickets, stop buying match passes, stop buying anything that will give money to them. Enough was enough a long time ago but it needs to happen now #abdallahout #oafc

The club is a joke #oafc

Beyond sick of this club, sack him and bring in who? Constants circles it’s embarrassing #oafc

Not a problem with sacking him but again I’ll reiterate, Harry Kewell wasn’t and isn’t the problem at this club.

Absolute mess.
My theory was/is that Selim will be in charge. Time will tell #oafc https://t.co/wnMkC8vd2h
Another one bites the dust. Poor recruitment in January with not replacing Rowe had a hand in kewells job. How are we suppose to go forward on 2 or more managers per season #oafc

Obviously the relationship wasn’t quite as perfect as was said....
— David Broadbent (@Broadystar) March 7, 2021
Not surprised and totally indifferent to it all.
16th in Division 4 is not in any way good enough, but given the circumstances it almost doesn’t matter who the named Head Coach is #oafc
Very surprised Kewell has gone performances have been pretty poor but thought he could have seen the season out. Recruitment has been very poor and it’s cost him when we could have pushed on #Oafc

Absolute joke.

Not the best, not the worst, but now we reset for another season as a new boss builds his team.
Kewell was extremely far down the list of problems at Boundary Park. #oafc https://t.co/tUelwduYmH
