LATICS' trip to Morecambe on Saturday will now be a lunchtime kick-off.

All EFL games have been moved from the usual 3pm kick-off time so they do not clash with the funeral of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

As a result Keith Curle's men will take on the Shrimps at the Mazuma Stadium at 12.30pm.

It is believed clubs were given the option of playing on Friday night, Saturday lunchtime or at 5.30pm.

With Morecambe in action at home to Scunthorpe on Tuesday night, bringing the game forward a day was ruled out, Latics having done that with last Friday evening's meeting with Colchester at Boundary Park.

It has also been confirmed that the final round of League Two games will be played as scheduled at 3pm on Saturday, May 8, Latics at home to Forest Green.

The Championship will be played to a conclusion at 12.30pm on the same day with League One finishing on Sunday, May 9.

The EFL has also announced fixtures for next season will be released at 9am on Thursday, June 24.
