LATICS loanee Serhat Tasdemir has been made available for transfer by newly promoted Peterborough United.

Posh have released six players after celebrating promotion to the Championship as League One runners up, while four contracted players have been transfer listed, with Tasdemir among them.

The 20-year-old was signed on loan by Harry Kewell in February and after coming off the bench to make his debut in a 4-3 defeat at Forest Green he started the next game, playing the first 50 minutes in a 2-2 draw away to Tranmere.

But in seven appearances for Latics, the attacking midfielder was only on the winning side once - at home to Exeter soon after Keith Curle had replaced Kewell at the helm.

But that proved to be his last game for Oldham.

And with Peterborough preparing to play in the second tier next season, manager Darren Ferguson is shaking up his squad.

“Part of Serhat’s development was allowing him to go out on loan but it has been a disappointing loan for him and that played a part in my decision, " said Ferguson.
