CONOR McAleny is in talks over a new deal with Oldham Athletic but the club have released all other out of contract players.

Goalkeepers Gary Woods and Laurence Bilboe, former Manchester United youngster Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Sido Jombati, Brice Ntambwe and Marcus Barnes have not been offered extensions at the end of their current Boundary Park deals, which expire next month.

McAleny is on the radar of other clubs, including League One Ipswich Town, but Latics have not yet given up hope of persuading their 21-goal top scorer to stay.

Captain Carl Piergianni is among those who remain under contract, along with Kyle Jameson, Andrea Badan, Raphael Diarra, Callum Whelan, Davis Keillor-Dunn, Dylan Fage, Nicky Adams, Dylan Bahamboula, Zak Dearnley and George Blackwood.

A club statement read: "We would like to place on record our thanks to all the players who have not been retained for their contribution whilst at Boundary Park and we wish them well in their future careers.

"An update will be provided in due course on scholars from the Academy who have been offered professional deals."

Meanwhile, all loanees have returned to their parent clubs.

They are: Ian Lawlor (Doncaster Rovers), Laurie Walker (MK Dons), Harry Clarke (Arsenal), Ben Garrity (Blackpool), Bobby Grant (Wrexham), Serhat Tasdemir (Peterborough United), Marcel Hilssner (Coventry City), Alfie McCalmont (Leeds United).
