England’s kit for the 2022 World Cup has seemingly been leaked online just over two months before Gareth Southgate’s side head to Qatar.

While the Three Lions are yet to confirm their 26-man squad for the tournament, fans could already know what the squad will be wearing come November when they kick off their campaign against Iran.

England World Cup kit 2022 'leaked'

Footy Headlines has shared a leaked image which shows Nike’s efforts to pay tribute to England’s Euro 96 strip when England played hosts.

England reached the semi-finals of that tournament led by Terry Venables with a side that included England’s current boss, Southgate.

Supporters are set to see their side once again take to the pitch in a white strip with light blue trims.

Fans are seemingly disgruntled to see the modern take on the classic strip. One social media user tweeted: “It looks like training wear - at best. The away is so much more refined. I vote we switch things around and use the red as the home kit for the next year/2 years.

“Would rather shell out on and old top from CFS than buy that home. Not doing it for me.”

Another added: “Doesn’t look right as it doesn’t have red. Won’t be buying that. Will be keeping an eye out for the pre-match and away maybe, but already feel like if I’m buying a World Cup shirt it won’t be this one.”

“Dreadful, really don't like this Nike template, it's a very weird shape around the shoulders, neck and chest,” added a third.

Despite the negative response, fans won’t care about the kit if England can go one better from their penalty shootout defeat to Italy in the Euro 2020 final.

The Three Lions will be looking to win their first major trophy since 1966 inspired by the Lionesses Euro 2022 triumph in July.

England will face Iran, USA and Wales in Group B in November but first must face Italy and Germany in the Nations League later this month.
