Oldham Athletic goalkeeper Magnus Norman has had his place in England's C team confirmed for their friendly with Wales C next week.
Manager Paul Fairclough has whittled down his provisional 25-man squad to 16, with Norman making the cut for Tuesday's game at Altrincham's Moss Lane ground (kick-off 7.45pm).
Norman has been an almost ever-present, making 36 appearances this season following his summer move from Carlisle, and has caught the eye in particular with his prowess from the penalty spot, with saves against Halifax, Aldershot and Barnet, as well as the cup games that have gone to penalty shoot-outs.
"We're looking forward to it, we'll be going en masse," said Latics boss David Unsworth, who has labelled Norman the best goalkeeper in the league.
"It's a great scouting tool for us as well to have a look at some of the other players in the league, but first and foremost we hope Magnus plays and plays well."
