Micky Mellon expects to have to utilise his squad ahead of an away double header, with illness, injury and suspension affecting the camp.
Latics travel to Woking tomorrow before heading back south for a televised midweek match at Barnet on Wednesday, with Liam Hogan missing the first of those fixtures through suspension for accumulated bookings.
And while Devarn Green is available after injury, Mellon is otherwise Mellon having to monitor availability.
"Devarn will travel will us and Harrison (McGahey) will be back after being ill at the start of the week," the Latics boss explained.
"We have a couple of injuries that you get at this time of the season and a bit of illness, different factors.
"But we will have a team, we will be all right.
"We will use the squad and it will maybe give someone an opportunity."
Oldham will clock up over 800 miles this week as they venture to Surrey and Middlesex, and while Mellon says the travel time will impact on their schedule he does not expect it to have a detrimental affect.
"The week will look a bit different because you can't get any intense work done, but at the of the day everyone would rather play football matches anyway," he said.
"We're on a nice coach so we've not got much to complain about. We're thinking about the positives.
"I don't really look at it as what type of games they are as such, we just have to concentrate on ourselves.
"If we are the best version of ourselves we will give ourselves a good chance of winning any game in this division."
