Latics hope to have Brennan Dickenson and Shaun Hobson available for their first FA Trophy tie of the season.

Micky Mellon's team will host Mickelover of the Southern League Premier Division Central on December 9 (kick-off 3pm).

And while they will have missed recent National League fixtures through injury, and are unavailable for games at Barnet tomorrow and at home to Ebbsfleet on Saturday, manager Mellon hopes they will be available for selection for FA Trophy third round weekend.

Dickenson, who has a glute muscle injury, has not featured since he went off in the 34th minute of Latics' FA Cup first round defeat at Newport County earlier this month, while Hobson missed Saturday's win at Woking along with Alex Reid, who faces a slightly longer spell on the sidelines.

"Brennan Dickenson will be back early to the middle of next week, and so will Shaun," said Mellon.

"Alex Reid will be a wee bit longer."

Mellon does have Hallam Hope available for tomorrow night's game at second placed Barnet, after illness ruled the forward out of the weekend trip to Woking.

Captain Liam Hogan is also available for the televised game at The Hive Stadium after serving his one-match ban for accumulated bookings.
