Oldham Athletic boss Micky Mellon is eager to return to action tonight after being frustrated by two postponements.
But the missed games have had a positive as far as James Norwood is concerned.
The 15-goal top scorer would have missed Saturday's game at Eastleigh after picking up a knock in training on the eve of the game. But it has been a quick recovery for Norwood, who is available for selection for tonight's visit of Barnet (kick-off 7.45pm).
A debut for newest signing Andrew Dallas is likely to have to wait until the weekend, however.
The 24-year-old, who was last week recalled from his loan at Kilmarnock, has not played since December 27, when he came on as a 75th minute substitute in a 1-0 win at St Mirren and is not considered match fit.
The Dallas deal was also subject to international clearance with him spending almost four months in the Scottish Premiership, and while there is not expected to be an issue there was still red tape to ratify.
