An Oldham primary school is celebrating after a group of pupils won a national schools cup at Wembley.
At the iconic stadium in London yesterday, the team of eight school children at St Herbert's Primary School, in Chadderton, played in the Under 11s National League Trust Cup final.
The trust supports community projects at National League clubs and hosts a tournament where a group of pupils from a local school represent their National League team.
The mixed team from St Herbert's made the trip down to represent Oldham Athletic, where they played in the final against a school from Aldershot.
Having gone 1-0 down, St Herbert's fought back to turn the game around, with goals from stunning Harry Mellor and Theo Cunnane leading them to a 2-1 win.
A video posted at full time showed the jubilant scenes as the players embraced each other on the pitch of one of sport's most famous stadiums.
