Boundary Park will be a pitstop on former footballer Joe Thompson's 21-mile fundraising walk, with former Latics boss Keith Curle among the group of walkers.
Thompson, 35, revealed earlier this year that he has been diagnosed with cancer for a third time, and along with his family is on a mission to raise £250,000 to finance his ongoing treatment as well as a groundbreaking test that could potentially save lives in the future, and prevent a recurrence of his cancer.
'Walk With Me For JT' starts from Old Trafford, with Thompson having started his career with the Manchester United Academy. They will then stop at Salford City and Manchester City en route to Oldham Athletic, before ending the walk at Thompson's last club, Rochdale.
A total of 45 teams, made up of 227 walkers, have signed up to take part in the walk, and additional walkers are also able to turn up on the day.
The walkers will set off from Old Trafford at 9am, and are due to arrive at Boundary Park between 1pm and 2pm, ahead of Latics' FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie at home to Halifax Town.
After refreshments, courtesy of the Oldham Event Centre (OEC), the group then moves on to Royton, ending it Rochdale at 4pm.
