YouTubers known for taking on eating challenges are lining up to take on the popular Super Six Belly Buster challenge at The Black Ladd Pub in Shaw.

The pub, which previously had a 100oz steak challenge, introduced the breakfast challenge in January and extended it shortly after due to popular demand.

After YouTuber Beard Meets Food defeated the massive serving in February, more YouTubers known for trying out food challenges are visiting the pub on Buckstones Road to have a go.

Leah Shutkever, who has 332,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel, stopped by The Black Ladd on Thursday, September 1 and "smashed" the challenge, according to a post on the pub's Facebook page.

In the same post, the pub confirmed American professional eater Randy Santel, who has 1.47 million subscribers on YouTube, would be coming to Oldham to try his hand at the Belly Buster on Wednesday, September 7 at 5.30pm.

The challenge includes a total of 54 items: six portions each of sausages, bacon, eggs, toast, French toast, hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms and black puddings, along with a large tray of beans.

Those who successfully cleared the plate within 30 minutes walked away without payment but the rest must pay £29.95.

Beard Meets Food, whose real name is Adam Moran, completed the challenge in 15-and-a-half minutes according to the timer in his video, which has achieved over a million views.

Before his visit, the challenge had only been defeated once by someone who did it in 23 minutes.

Mr Santel, who lives in Milwaukee, "focuses strictly on winning and promoting restaurant food challenges all around the world" according to his YouTube page.

He owns and operates FoodChallenges.com, which includes a full database of all restaurant eating challenges currently available in over 50 countries.

According to Ms Shutkever's YouTube channel, she is the top female competitive eater in Europe and holds 27 Guinness World Record titles.
