A two-day long weather warning is in place for Oldham, as residents are urged to prepare for a second storm this week.
Just days after Oldham was rocked by Storm Isha, which saw one building almost collapse in the heart of the town centre, Storm Jocelyn is expected to batter the borough from tomorrow.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind which is expected to disrupt travel across Oldham, from 4pm tomorrow until 1pm on Wednesday.
Its warning read: "A spell of strengthening west or south-westerly winds is expected to affect Northern Ireland, north Wales, northern England and Scotland from Tuesday evening, associated with Storm Jocelyn.
"Winds are widely expected to gust to 55 to 65mph, with a few exposed locations possibly seeing in excess of 70mph, although the greatest likelihood of these is now highlighted with an Amber warning.
"Gusts of 55 to 65mph are fairly typical for a winter storm across these areas, but following the impacts caused by Storm Isha resilience is expected to be lower and it may also hamper any ongoing recovery and repair efforts."

Residents have been urged to secure loose items such as bins, trampolines, garden furniture, tents, sheds and fences, to protect properties and fellow Oldhamers from injury.
Road and bridge closures should be expected due to fallen trees and other debris, while damage to buildings - for instance tiles blown from roofs, may also take place in the borough.
Any remaining recovery efforts off the back of Storm Isha are likely to be hampered, and road, rail, air and ferry services may be affected, with longer journey times and cancellations possible.
Forecasters also advised what residents should do to prepare for Storm Jocelyn. They added: "People cope better with power cuts when they have prepared for them in advance. It’s easy to do; consider gathering torches and batteries, a mobile phone power pack and other essential items."
As well as strong winds, Oldhamers can expect heavy showers for the majority of tomorrow before the rain eases off at 8pm.
