Latics will play Tranmere in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
The Boundary Park tie is expected to take place on Tuesday, August 10, but will be confirmed at a later date.
Oldham will also play Tranmere in this year's Papa Trophy's Trophy.
The final piece of action on fixture release day saw Leeds as the Under-21 side added to Northern Group B along with Latics, Tranmere and fellow League Two side Salford.
The Ammies were the winners of the competition in 2020, the final played a year late due to Covid-19, with Tranmere losing finalists last season as Sunderland triumphed.
Group stage dates are to be confirmed with the Premier League U21 side always playing away from home.
It is expected the ties will be scheduled around Wednesday, September 1, Wednesday, October 6, and Wednesday, November 10.
